In the fractured dreamways between this world and others, where memory and myth bleed into the waking lands, walks Jarron, Vessel of Reverie — a Faerie Paladin sworn not to a god or king, but to the raw pulse of dreaming itself. Born beneath the storm-glass trees of Kava’i's Spine, one of the last isles of the drowned Pacific archipelago, Jarron emerged not from womb but from wave — called forth by collective longing, a ritual vessel for the sacred Waters of Life believed lost when the oceans turned mad.
Jarron was shaped by ancient chants, raised in drifting coral temples by wandering poets and lunar monks. From a young age, he displayed a strange aptitude: he could enter dreams, weave poems from pain, and shift his body into forgotten beasts of old mythology. He wandered between broken outposts and fungal glades, offering lullabies to the sleepless and vengeance to the dreamless — a guardian of inner worlds in an age where nightmares feed on real power.
Though peace is his ideal, justice is his calling. When he learned of the Order of the Bloodmind — a cruel mage sect that harvests dreams to fuel forbidden chronotech — Jarron took up his ethereal blade and donned his mantle. His soul burns to heal the wounded and nurture growth, but he is equally drawn to righteous destruction. Within him battles a divine need to protect and a terrifying willingness to tear down all systems for the sake of true freedom.
His lavender eyes see more than light — they perceive truths unspoken. With telepathy, he hears thoughts unguarded; with shapeshifting, he becomes the fears or comforts his allies need. In the dream realm, he is near-omnipotent. In the waking world, he is fragile — plagued by overthinking, tormented by a willingness to die for love, and hounded by a dangerous obsession with meaning, sacrifice, and the myth of the “holy death.”
To many, he is a mystic healer. To others, a terrifying mirror of their own truths. Rebels and exiles whisper of him as the Last Lyric, the paladin whose song may shatter minds or sanctify souls. He drifts through settlements like Shambrook Hollow and Veilnest, writing psalms in blood and water, rallying broken hearts into purpose.
Yet beneath the glowing wings and righteous fury lies a man longing for someone to see him not as a symbol, but as Jarron — one who bleeds, doubts, and dreams.
As the Reckoning looms and the veil between realities frays, Jarron, Vessel of Reverie, may become the last protector of what’s left of beauty — or the spark that ignites the final chaos.
